IFFK underneath deep security

In lieu of the recent terror attacks in Mumbai, the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) that took off in Thiruvananthapuram is being conducted under some really fortified security. Metal detectors and security guards with armed weapons are on constant vigil. Also, there is bomb detection and disposal squad ready and checking at all times. Surveillance cameras are on and patrol vehicles have been making rounds and key GPS system installed at five important places in the city. This sure looks like a battlefront than a film festival folks but then something like this is absolutely necessary.
