KAMAL WISHES TO REMAKE SALANGAI OLI ONCE AGAIN
Kamal Haasan, who has just completed 50 years in Cinema, has disclosed his desire to feature once again in Salangai Oli if remade. The age of the actor did not diminish his desires towards the art. The movie Sagar Sangamam originally made in Telugu was a roaring success and won lots of awards for the best actor. The movie was directed by K. Viswananth and starring Jayapradha when remade in Tamil received the identical response. The theme of the movie was based on Classical dance and Kamal's depiction (as a dancer who sacrifices his life for the art) won him great compliments.
The actor while talking about the film said that he is ready to feature in the same role if someone comes up to remake the movie again. No one in this globe would have any doubts that this pure genius of the Art would sizzle in the role even after decades passed.
